Action learning sets are a powerful way for your teams to meet and work on issues and solve problems through a process of reflection and action.

Action learning builds and develops relationships providing the time and space to attend to that relationship. A set typically consists of 5 to 10 people, each working on a separate topic or project, who meet regularly to discuss the challenges which they are encountering, with the object of learning with and from each other. It is a powerful way of engaging with staff, empowering staff to make changes and develop lasting relationships and bonds.

“Our action learning set has provided us with a safe, trusting space, where we can discuss in confidence real issues that need to be sorted in the work place. We rely on each other for support and compassion. We intend to carry on our sessions and have been given the skills to facilitate ourselves.”
